Karratha, approximately 1600km north of Perth, was built in 1968 to service and accommodate workers mining iron-ore in the Hamersley Ranges. Now the busy centre of the Pilbara district, Karratha is large and its facilities are modern. It adjoins the port of Dampier in the Pilbara region of Western Australia which was developed from the 1960s to accommodate the processing and exportation of iron ore and, in the 1980s, the petroleum and liquefied natural gas operations of the North West Shelf Venture. It has a population of approximately 20,000.
Delron have a long and successful history in Karratha, more than 40 years in fact. Our Founder, Ron Doughty, was the first to bring contract cleaning to the North-West in the early 1970’s. Our Management and staff undertaking our cleaning operations are lifetime locals of the region and have been building the Delron brand and reputation for a great deal of that time. Our localised depth and insight, coupled with the strength of the Delron resource base, allows us to offer you a precise and polished cleaning service with the consistency you’ve only imagined in the past.
From our base in Karratha, we have comprehensive service delivery to all regional areas within the vicinity, including Port Hedland.
